Jinde Cao (Fellow, IEEE) is an Endowed Chair Professor, the Dean of the School of Mathematics, the Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Networked Collective Intelligence of China, and the Director of the Research Center for Complex Systems and Network Sciences, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Prof. Cao was a recipient of the National Innovation Award of China, the Gold Medal of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the Obada Prize and the Highly Cited Researcher Award in Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics by Thomson Reuters/Clarivate Analytics. He is elected as a member of Russian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Academy of Europe, a member of Russian Academy of Engineering, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences, a fellow of African Academy of Sciences, a member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, and an academician of The International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences.

Slobodan P. Simonovic is globally recognized for his unique interdisciplinary research in Systems Analysis and the development of deterministic and stochastic simulation, optimization, multi-criteria analysis, and other decision-making methodologies. His work addresses challenging system of systems problems lying at the confluence of society, technology and the environment and has been applied with a sustainable development perspective in water resources management, hydrology, energy, climate change and public infrastructure. His main contributions include modelling risk and resilience of complex systems. Professor Simonovic has influenced academia, industry and government via university teaching, publication of leading-edge research, mentoring of young people, delivering stimulating research seminars at institutions around the world, carrying out joint research projects, and consulting work. He has received awards for excellence in teaching, research and outreach. Dr. Simonovic has published over 650 professional publications (over 260 in peer-reviewed Journals) and three major textbooks. He has delivered over 320 keynote and invited talks. He has been inducted to the Canadian Academy of Engineering in June of 2013 and Royal Society of Canada in Nov of 2020 and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Nov of 2021. Dr. Simonovic is currently Professor Emeritus at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Director of Engineering Works at the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction, The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.

Prof. Kim is the Jimmy D. Clark Distinguished University Professor and Alumni Association Distinguished Graduate Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University. He also served as Changjiang Scholar in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Chang’an University in China from 2016 till 2019. Changjiang Scholar is the highest academic award issued to an individual in higher education by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. Prof. Kim obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, and Master’s and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He has over thirty years of experience in both the laboratory and field aspects of the performance evaluation of asphalt materials and pavements.His research is recognized by over $25 million research funding from national and international agencies, including FHWA, USDOT, NCHRP, NSF, and NCDOT, and private industries. Professor Kim is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Korean Academy of Science and Technology. He was the chair of the 2014 ISAP Conference on Asphalt Pavements. Dr. Kim has published over350 papers in national and international technical journals and proceedings. He is the editor of the ASCE book entitled Modeling of Asphalt Concreteandthe Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and International Journal of Highway Engineering. He has spoken at numerous national and international settings, including over 140 invited/keynote speeches. Professor Kimhas advised 57 PhD students and 44 Masters students during his 33-year tenure at NC State University. His teaching and mentoring efforts were recognized by the Alumni Association Distinguished Graduate Professorship in 2012.Professor Kim has won numerous awards, including the the Walter J. Emmons Best Paper Awards by the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (1997, 2006, and 2009), NCSU Alumni Association Outstanding Research Award (2014, 2016), the Alcoa Foundation Distinguished Engineering Research Award (2015), the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Extension (2018), the Alexander Quarles Holladay Medal for Excellence (2019), and the ASCE’s Francis C. Turner Award.The Holladay Medal is the highest award at NC State University to recognize members of the faculty whose careers have demonstrated outstanding achievement and sustained impact in research, teaching or extension and engagement. Also, the Francis C. Turner Award is the flagship award among the ASCE awards in the transportation area. In 2016, Professor Kim became one of the eleven inaugural members of the Research Leadership Academy at NC State University. The Research Leadership Academy is the faculty-driven epicenter of research leadership and faculty mentoring enhancing NCSU’s research culture and is composed of the University’s most outstanding researchers and mentors from diverse fields.

Dr. Nguyen is currently Brace Endowed Chair Professor of Civil Engineering at McGill University, Canada. He has been for more than ten years as Chair of Civil Engineering Department, Director of Brace Centre for Water Resources Management, and Associate Director of Global Environmental and Climate Change Centre at McGill. Dr. Nguyen is widely recognized for his novel research in Hydrologic Engineering and Water Management that has significantly impacted engineering practices worldwide with over 250 influential peer-reviewed publications. More specifically, his pioneering research covers a remarkable range of topics including climate change impact and adaptation, modelling of hydrologic extremes, and watershed modelling for sustainable water resource development. He has served in several national/international expert committees to develop influential technical guidelines for engineering practice in Canada and in the world (e.g., technical guides by the Canadian Dam Safety Association, Canadian Standards Association; and World Meteorological Organization). In addition, he has been invited to deliver prestigious lectures at numerous national and international scientific conferences and has served in editorial boards of several renowned scientific international journals. He has been also Invited Professors at universities in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Professor Young-Jin Cha received his Ph.D. (2008) from Texas A&M University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, M.S. (2004) from Yonsei University, and B. E. (2002) from Kumoh National Institute of Technology. He started as a post-doctoral fellow (2009) in the City College of New York by collaborating with Professor Anil Agrawal who is Editor in Chief of the Journal of Bridge Engineering, ASCE, then he became post-doctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (2012). He then joined the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba in 2014. His extensive research activities in the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and structural control for seismic damage reduction have led to the publication of 41 peer-reviewed, high-impact papers in top journals including one editorial, including Computer-Aided Civil Infrastructure Engineering (CACIE) (impact factor (IF): 11.775, top rank 1 in Civil Engineering), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (IF: 8.236), Automation in Construction (IF: 7.7), and Structural Health Monitoring (IF: 5.929). He has accepted/published 39 peer-reviewed, internationally recognized conference papers and delivered 68 conference presentations including six invited keynote speeches. He also authored a book chapter that was published in the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems (UNESCO). His key scientific contribution is deep learning-based automated SHM with autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). He brought this topic to light with paper publications in top-ranking journals. Researchers, professors including scientists, students, and industry professionals from many different countries have been showing strong interest in this innovative topic since 2016. According to Google Scholar, He has received 4,000 citations, 957 of which were received during the last year 2020. He was reported as top 0.65% cited scientist for single-year impact in the world within Civil Engineering field in 2020 from Mendeley.com. He has been reported more than serval hundred times as the most read author, most read research items, and citations in the Civil Engineering Dept. at U of M, with more than 86,000 readings since my account on www.researchgate.net was opened. He was named to 2005 Who’s Who in America,’ organized many symposiums in the MIT and Caltech through Engineering Mechanics Institute Conferences with the topics of Deep Learning and Autonomous UAVs for SHM. He is serving as core peer-reviewers and Editorial Board Members in many top engineering journals associated with IEEE, Elsevier, and ASCE.

Dr. Kumares C. Sinha is the Olson Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University and a Honorary Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is a past president of several professional bodies including the Transportation& Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE, and the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC). He was a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB)’s Executive Committee and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)’s Research and Technology Coordinating Committee. Dr. Sinha is Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the Journal of Transportation Engineering. His recognitions include TRB’s Roy Crum Award (2009); and ASCE’s Frank Turner Lecture Award (1999). He is a Member of the National Academy of Engineering.

Weidong Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the founder and director of its Dynamic Systems and Vibrations Laboratory and Laser Vibrometry and Optical Measurement Laboratory. He received his double major BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computational Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1986, and his MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and the University of California at Berkeley in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He is a recipient of the 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award. He has been an ASME Fellow since 2010, and has served as an Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics and the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, and as a Subject Editor of the Journal of Sound and Vibration and Nonlinear Dynamics. His research spans the fields of dynamics, vibration, control, applied mechanics, metamaterials, structural health monitoring, and wind energy, and involves analytical development, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application. He has published 273 SCI-indexed journal papers in these areas and holds seven U.S. patents. He is a recipient of the 2020 University System of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Research

Dr. Lin Shen is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He received his B.S. from Tongji University, M.S. from the National University of Singapore, and Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2007). "His research focuses on large-scale applications" of cement-free Alkali-Activated Concrete (AAC), concrete for space exploration purposes, rheology, among others. Dr. Shen is the lead investigator of multiple large-scale applications of high-performance cement-free AAC, which is a revolutionary sustainable concrete using industrial wastes such as fly ash, slag, and red mud. His pioneer work on AAC is one of the first field applications of AAC, which could achieve 1) cement free with more than 80% reduction in carbon footprint, 2) ~25-50% reduction in cost, 3) cured at ambient temperature with well controlled setting time, flowability and other fresh properties, 4) similar or even superior hardened properties and durability, and 5) mass production ready. Dr. Shen developed a standard for AAC for the Hawaii Department of Transportation, one of the first in the US. An innovative testing method on self-consolidating concrete originally developed by Dr. Shen has been adopted as a Unite States National Standard Test (AASHTO PP58-2012). His work on developing “lunar concrete” with the potential to build human bases on the Moon and Mars (https://youtu.be/iPRmBs_6tjU) received broad media coverage including KHON2, Star Advertiser, Hawaii News Now, KITV, among others. "Dr. Shen is an associate editor of ASCE Journal of Materials" Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering (JMCE), the recipient of Northrop Grumman Excellence in Teaching Award, and Hi Chang Chai Excellence in Teaching Award.

Dr. Zongjin LI is Chair professor at University of Macau. He received his B.E. from Zhejiang University in 1982 and obtained both his M.S. and PhD from North-western University, Chicago, in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He was a fellow of American Concrete Institute, Chair of China Group of RILEM and Founding President of ACI China Chapter. As the chief scientist, he has led a China Key National Basic Research Project (973), ‘Basic study on environmentally friendly contemporary concrete’ that promoted the concrete research in China to a world-class level. He also founded the Gordon Research Conference, ‘‘Advanced Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Development’ in 2014. He is pioneer in noncontact resistivity/impedance measurement for cement-based materials and lead the research activities in this area for about 20 years. He also developed cement-based piezoelectric and opened a new direction for civil engineering. The methodology he developed to utilizing the in situ polymerization of monomer during cement hydration process has shown a strong effect in enhancing flexural strength of cement-based composite. He has published 5 technical books, in which ‘Advanced Concrete Technology’ published by John Wiley has been collected by many national libraries and major university libraries and used by many universities as text or reference books for civil engineering. He has also published more than 400 technical papers with a Google Scholar citation of 21358 and H-index of 82. He has also been awarded eight US and twenty Chinese patents. Three of his patents have been developed into commercial products. He received the Arthur R. Anderson Medal from American Concrete Institute in 2017 and Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Award from British Royal Academy of Engineering in 2014.

Dr. Evangelos Sapountzakis is Civil Engineer, Professor at the Institute of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the Structural Engineering Department of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is also Vice Rector for Finance, Programming and Development of NTUA and Director of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program “Structural Design and Analysis of Structures” of NTUA. He obtained his Diploma from NTUA in 1984, the MSc and DIC degrees (Concrete Structures) from Imperial College of Science and Technology of London in 1985 and the PhD degree from NTUA in 1991. He has extensive experience (over 35 years) in the design and analysis of bridge and other largescale structural projects, while since 1996 he has provided consultancy services in various structural and transportation large scale Civil Engineering projects. He has also been a member of the Special Scientific Tender Evaluation Committee for the project: “Study - Construction, Self-financing and Utilisation of the Permanent Bridging Project of Rion - Antirrion”. Apart from NTUA, he is also Professor of Structural Analysis at the School of Corps of Engineers of the Hellenic Army since 1986 and member of the Coactive Educational Staff of the Hellenic Open University (2011-2017). His published research work comprises 130 original papers published in international journals and 181 papers published in international conference proceedings. He is the author of 12 Chapters in books published by International Publishing Companies, 5 Technical Reports, 4 educational books and co-author of 3 educational books. He is the editor of 6 Books or Conference Proceedings. He has participated in 15 financially supported research projects, while in 11 of them as the Principal Investigator. His research work has received intentional recognition, since he is Honorary Editor, Editor-in-Chief, Academic Editor, Regional Editor, Associate Editor of international journals, member of the editorial board of 29 international journals, member of 72 scientific advisory committees of international conferences, while more than 3000 citations have been noticed in international literature. He is also reviewer of scientific papers in more than 60 international journals and evaluator of research proposals of Ministries of Science, Research and Development of 3 foreign countries.

Amir H. Gandomi is a Professor of Data Science and an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining UTS, Prof. Gandomi was an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA and a distinguished research fellow in BEACON center, Michigan State University, USA. Prof. Gandomi has published over two hundred journal papers and seven books which collectively have been cited 24,000+ times (H-index = 72). He has been named as one of the most influential scientific minds and Highly Cited Researcher (top 1% publications and 0.1% researchers) for five consecutive years, 2017 to 2021. He also ranked 18th in GP bibliography among more than 12,000 researchers. He has served as associate editor, editor and guest editor in several prestigious journals such as AE of IEEE TBD and IEEE IoTJ. Prof Gandomi is active in delivering keynotes and invited talks. His research interests are global optimisation and (big) data analytics using machine learning and evolutionary computations in particular.

Thanos Tzempelikos is a Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, Indiana, USA. His area of specialization is design, operation and optimization of high-performance buildings. It includes experimental and computational studies on building energy performance, indoor environmental quality and comfort, well-being, smart sensing and controls, daylighting systems and building simulation. Dr. Tzempelikos has published more than 150 articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings and participates in technical committeesand review panels for US and foreign government and research organizations. He serves as Editor for Building and Environment journal, Section Editor for Energy and Buildings journal, and Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Energy Engineering. He is the recipient of the ASHRAE New Investigator Award, the Concordia Faculty of Engineering Doctoral Prize, and the Leon Gaster Award. He is the Chair of the bi-annual International High Performance Buildings conference at Purdue since 2010 and a faculty member of the Center for High Performance Buildings. He holds a B.Sc. from the National University of Athens, Greece and M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Professor Kim is currently a full professor and a graduate chair at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He received the U.S. National Science Foundation, Faculty Early CAREER award (2005), the University Of Hawaii Board of Regent's Excellence in Research Award (2006), and the Excellence in Teaching Award (2017). He obtained a BS (1991) and MS (1994) in Physics in South Korea and MS (1998) and Ph.D. (2001) in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis on Environmental Engineering) at the University of California at Los Angeles. His research area includes computational fluid and statistical dynamics (CFSD) for renewable energy processes, applied mathematics and high-performance computing, and socio-economic-cultural analysis for global water scarcity mitigation.

Dr. S.-H. Gary Chan is currently Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong. He is also Affiliate Professor in Innovation, Policy and Entrepreneurship Thrust of HKUST(GZ), Chair of the Committee on Entrepreneurship Education Program at HKUST, and Board Director of Hong Kong Logistics and Supply Chain Multi Tech R&D Center (LSCM). He received MSE and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Business Administration from Stanford University (Stanford, CA). He obtained his B.S.E. degree (highest honor) in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University (Princeton, NJ), with certificates in Applied and Computational Mathematics, Engineering Physics, and Engineering and Management Systems. His research interest includes smart sensing and IoT, cloud and fog/edge computing, indoor localization and mobile computing, video/location/user/data analytics, and IT entrepreneurship. Professor Chan has been an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and a Vice-Chair of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Communications Technical Sub-Committee of IEEE Comsoc Emerging Technologies Committee. He has been Guest Editor of ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, IEEE Communication Magazine, etc. He is a steering committee member and was the TPC chair of IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (IEEE CCNC), and area chair of the multimedia symposium of IEEE Globecom and IEEE ICC. Professor Chan has co-founded and transferred his research results to several startups. Due to their innovations and commercial impacts, his startups and research projects have received local and international accolades. Notably, he received Hong Kong Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service for "outstanding contribution to the fight against COVID-19" in 2020. He is the recipient of Google Mobile 2014 Award and Silver Award of Boeing Research and Technology. He was a visiting professor and researcher in Microsoft Research, Princeton University, Stanford University, and University of California at Davis. At HKUST, he was Director of Entrepreneurship Center, Director of Sino Software Research Institute, Co-director of Risk Management and Business Intelligence program, and Director of Computer Engineering Program. He was a William and Leila Fellow at Stanford University, and the recipient of the Charles Ira Young Memorial Tablet and Medal, and the POEM Newport Award of Excellence at Princeton. He is a member of honor societies Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi and Phi Beta Kappa, and a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT).

Professor S.L. Chanis the Chair Professor in Computational Structural Engineering at the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University until 2022 when he left and joined a research and engineering company Nida Technology Limited to continue and apply his research to engineering problems. Professor Chan’s research interests include the stability analysis and design of steel, composite and concrete structures, nonlinear finite element analysis, glass and slender skeletal structures, steel, rock and flood barriers, bamboo and aluminum scaffolding and pre-tensioning steel structures. During the past three decades, Professor Chan developed a new design method called the second-order direct analysis (SODA) allowing for imperfections applicable for design of practical structures bypassing the effective length assumption and the prescriptive use of charts and tables in Code. Since 1998, SODA has been applied to the design of numerous steel and composite structures in Hong Kong, Mainland, Singapore, Myanmar, Taiwan and Macau including the 2008 and 2016 award winning projects in Hong Kong and Macau. Over the past decades before epidemic rampage, Professor Chan delivered numerous keynote in international conferences and symposia. Currently, he is as chief editor of 3 international journals and member of board for other 7 journals.

Dr. Mohammad Noori is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering and a recipient of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science Fellowship. Noori’s work in modeling complex hysteretic systems, and his general hysteresis model, BWBN, has been widely cited and has been adopted in OpenSees, and ABAQUS software tools for seismic analysis and for dynamic response analysis of a wide range of mechanical and structural systems. Noori has also carried out one of the earliest work in utilizing wavelets for structural health monitoring (SHM) and for the past 20 years with his co-workers he has developed Wavelet and Artificial Intelligence based methodologies, including machine learning and artificial neural networks, for fault detection and system identification in SHM. Noori has supervised 24 post doctoral, 26 PhD and 53 MS projects, has published over 300 refereed papers with his co-workers, and holds two US patents on SMA based devices for seismic isolation. He has also published 15 scientific books, has authored 31 book chapters in invited archival volumes, has edited 15 scientific book collections, and has been the guest editor of 15 journal volumes and internarial conference proceedings. He has given over 20 keynote and 76 invited talks and lectures at NSF workshops, symposia, universities, national labs, industry, international conferences and global organizations, and has presented over 55 invited talks at educational conferences and workshops. He is the founding executive editor of a scientific journal and serves on the editorial board, or as the associate editor of, over 15 other journals. Noori is also the Founding Editor of Resilience and Sustainability in Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineering Systems Series for CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) and the founding Collection Editor of Sustainable Systems for Momentum Press. He has served as a member of several NSF sponsored US delegation committees for US-Japan and US-China Cooperative Research programs; and has served on review panels for NSF, NASA, NRC, Arizona Science Foundation, Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS), European Science Foundation, and other funding agencies in Asia and North America. Noori was the founding chair of the ASME Applied Mechanics Committee on Uncertainty and Probabilistics, and has chaired and/or organized, or served as a member of the scientific committee, of over 70 international conferences and over 30 educational workshops and symposia. He is an ASME Fellow and has received several ASME service recognitions. Noori is a member of Sigma Xi, Pi Tau Sigma, Chi-Epsilon, and Sigma Mu Epsilon honorary societies.He has been a founding director or co-founder of three industry-university research centers and held Chair professorships at two major universities. He served as the dean of engineering at Cal Poly for five years, has also served as the Chair of the national committee of mechanical engineering department heads, and was one of 7 co-founders of the National Institute of Aerospace(NIA) who received a $379 million 15-year NASA contract, to found NIAin partnership with NASA Langley Research Center.Noori also serves as the Chief Technical Advisor for several scientific organizations and industries. He also had the honor of being invited by President Clinton’s Special Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection, as a national expert, to present a Testimony.

Fernando F. S. Pinho, Researcher and Assistant Professor at FCT NOVA (Lisbon, Portugal). Graduated in Civil Engineering and master’s degree in Construction by Instituto Superior Técnico. PhD in Civil Engineering (Construction Sciences) by NOVA University of Lisbon. He developed design activities, management, and supervision of works between 1989 and 1998. Since 1998, he teachesCurricular Units in the scope of building materials, technologies, and construction management, at FCT NOVA.He co-authored about 110 publications (including international peer-reviewed scientific journals, two books and several conference proceedings) and 20 technical reports, regardingnamely the characterization and rehabilitation of ancient stone masonry walls.He co-organized and belong to scientific committees of national and international conferences, manly aboutrehabilitation of ancient buildings. John Sansalone, PhD, PE is a Full Professor of Engineering at the University of Florida, USA. Research and teaching areas of interest include physical and computational modeling methods for unit operations and processes focused on urban water treatment and management, green infrastructure for the urban hydrologic and heat cycle, urban water infrastructure design, combined sewer and wastewater treatment, water and soil chemistry analysis and monitoring. Dr. Tarek Zayed, Ph.D., PE, PEng, F.ASCE, F.CSCE, Professor and Associate Head (Research), Dept. of Building and Real Estate, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Zayed has a Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Construction Engineering and Management. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, in May 2001. He conducted research on infrastructure / asset management; simulation, fuzzy, optimization,risk assessment, data mining,and artificial intelligence applications in construction;and performance, budget allocation, and life cycle cost analysis for municipal underground system. He has more than 30 years of professional experience working in the construction industry training and in academic posts in USA, Canada and Hong Kong. Dr. Zayed started recently to look collectively at the three municipal key infrastructure systems, i.e. water, sewer and roads, to develop informed decision support system(s) to municipal engineers. Dr. S. Sonny Kim is a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Georgia, USA. Before joining academia in 2007, Dr. Kim has been an integral contributor to several nationwide highway/airport pavement improvement projects. His primary research has focused on transportation geotechnics, Resilient/Sustainable Infrastructure monitoring using nondestructive testing, remote sensing, and machine learning. Dr. Shahria Alam is a Professor and Tier-1 Principal’s Research Chair in Resilient & Green Infrastructure in the School of Engineering at The University of British Columbia. He is the Director of the Green Construction Research & Training Center (GCRTC) at UBC. Dr. Alam is the Chair of the Engineering Mechanics and Materials Division of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). He received his PhD from Western University in 2008. Dr. Maurice D. Kugler is a professor of public policy in the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. His research expertise is on the role of new technologies in boosting economic growth and labor productivity (aka endogenous growth theory). His work encompasses analyses of productivity growth, global labor markets, foreign direct investment, global value chains, human capital formation, international trade, and international migration. Kugler was head of research of the Human Development Report, the UN’s annual flagship publication on international economic development after he was senior economist at the World Bank. Prior, he was Visiting Professor of Public Policy at the Kennedy School of Government and Research Fellow at the Growth Lab of the Center for International Development, both in Harvard University (2006-10). Min Yeo (he, him, his) is a Design Critic in Landscape Architecture and a Doctor of Design candidate at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His design research focuses on developing formal responses to ecological forces at the shared boundaries of architecture, landscape architecture, and urbanism. His doctoral dissertation titled Envelopes and Laboratories of Environmental Knowledge narrates the story of mid-century American architectural laboratories that explored the relationship between climate and design. He has taught courses in architecture and landscape architecture at the Harvard GSD, Syracuse Architecture, and Boston Architectural College. He earned his MLA from Harvard University where he received the Master in Landscape Architecture Thesis Prize for his design thesis Wild: Manhattanism Unhinged. Elizabeth Bowie Christoforetti is Assistant Professor in the Practice of Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she is also a principal investigator within the Laboratory for Design Technologies. Clara Pimenta do Vale is Architect by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP, 1991), specialized in building physics and Portuguese 20th-century construction history. Doctor Haizhong Zhang is an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture at Kanagawa University, Japan. He graduated from Kanagawa University in 2018 and got his doctor degree. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of earthquake engineering of structures for a long time. Antonio Domingues de Figueiredo is a civil engineer since 1987 and full professor at the Department of Civil Construction Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. He developed his post-doctorate in 2010 at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona Tech) in Barcelona, Spain. He worked as a director of IBRACON (Brazilian Institute of Concrete) since 2003. He participated in four committees of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) where he contributed to the publication of several technical standards mainly focusing on shotcrete, concrete admixtures, and fiber reinforced concrete. He has more than 140 articles published in national and international congresses and 78 papers published in journals. He has one book published focusing on the fiber reinforced concrete application and eight technical book chapters published. He conducts research on topics related to special concretes such as fiber reinforced concrete, shotcrete, precast concrete elements, recycled aggregates, admixtures and quality control.

Professor Vadym Abyzov - PhD; Doctor of Architecture; Professor of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design; Honoured Architect of Ukraine; Member of the ICOMOS, (2003-2007 - President of ICOMOS-Ukraine). He graduated from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture in 1979 and the Netherlands Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS, Rotterdam) in 1998 at the course "Inner City Development in Transition Economies". His practical and scientific activities are related to the work of the Kyiv Regional Research and Design Institute for Experimental Design (1979-1988) and of the National Research Institute for Architecture and Urban Theory and History in the positions of Head of department, Chief architect, Director (1988-2006). Teaching work - at the Kyiv National Universities since 2017. Under the guidance and direct participation of Vadym Abyzov more than 70 projects of buildings and urban complexes were developed. Leader of the nominations' projects of Ukrainian cultural heritage objects to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Author of 7 monographs and more than 200 printed scientific works on the development of architecture environment, urban management, as well as the preservation and use of cultural heritage, theory and practice of design. Officially represented Ukraine at international symposia, meetings, seminars, assemblies of UN/ECE/HABITAT, UNESCO, ICOMOS, the TACIS European Commission. He has numerous State awards.

Dr Maram Saudy is an assistant professor and associate chair of the Department of Construction Engineering (CENG), of the American University in Cairo (AUC). Dr Maram joined CENG department of the AUC as an assistant professor in July 2019. She gained her MSc and PhD degrees in civil engineering in 2004 and 2008 from Cairo University, respectively. Following her graduation and prior to joining the CENG of the AUC, she was affiliated by the General Authority of Roads, bridges, and land Transportations (GARBLT), Ministry of Transportation (MOT) in Egypt from which she gained her professional experience in roadway planning, design, and construction as she was involved in many strategic infrastructure projects all over the country. Also, she continued gaining her professional experience by joining the World Bank (WB) as a consultant for a grant funded by the Japan-world Bank Program for Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management in Developing Countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region(2021 – 2022). Her main research interestsinclude pavement materials, pavement management, pavement risk management, and providing more resilient transportation infrastructures by introducing more sustainable solutions to the pavement problems.

Borka Bobovec is the author of the monographs Miroslav Begović, 2/2 XX Anthology of Croatian Architecture of the Second Half of the Twentieth Century, Sketches about the City and Architecture, and Context and Location – Croatian Architecture in MoMA, as well as the co-author of the books Growing Up with Architecture - Kindergartens and Schools of the 21st Century, Dubrovnik – Center behind the City and others. He publishes scientific and professional papers in the field of the history of architecture and urban planning. She is the winner of the Neven Šegvić Award (2013). From 2004 to 2014 she was the president of the international professional association Europan Croatia, as well as a member of the presidency of the Association of Croatian Architects in 2007/09, as well as a DGNB Consultant since 2015. She has been a member of the Scientific Council for Architecture, Urban Planning, and Space Design of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2019. She has participated in the work of numerous domestic and international juries. She is an associate professor at the Study of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, and since 2018 she is the director of the Croatian Museum of Architecture of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Fengjuan Chen, received her Ph.D. degree in 2016 from Lorraine University in France and currently serves as an assistant professor and master's supervisor at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Transportation Engineering, attached to Beijing University of Technology. Focusing on the following researches areas: (1) Radiation-Induced Degradation of Concrete in NPPs; (2) Seismic Performance and Size Effect of FRP-RC shear walls, Fengjuan Chen presides over a National Natural Science Foundation program of China (No. 52208453) and is the author of more than 20 scientific papers published on the peering journals ranked as Q1/Q2.

Dr. Dimitra V. Chondrogianni holds a diploma in Architectural Engineering, a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Patras and completed her doctoral dissertation on “Urban planning, Climate Change and Smart Cities” at the Department of Civil Engineering, Un. Of Patras, as fellow of the Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Currently, she performs her post-doctoral research on green energy buildings’ refurbishment and infrastructure upgrading. As an adjunct professor, she has taught undergraduate courses on Urban Design, Spatial Planning and Research in Architecture at the Architecture Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Ilaria Trizio is a building engineer. She holds a PhD in Medieval Archaeology in 2007 at the University of L’Aquila and is a full-time researcher at the L'Aquila branch of ITC-CNR since October 2011. She is a member of the Board of the PhD in Biosciences and Territory - curriculum Applied Sciences - at the University of Molise. She is Responsible for InnResLab (Distributed laboratory for documentation, analysis, conservation, valorisation and regeneration of the built environment) from 2021. Her research activities are related to the documentation, enhancement and accessibility of cultural heritage, in particular of the historic built heritage. Since the beginning, through her research, she has approached issues related to the combination of procedures for the archaeological, architectural and urban survey and the use of information technology applied to the analysis of the historical buildings, with particular reference to Architectural Information Systems (SIArch) and processes HBIM (Historical Building Information Modelling).

Marta Pereira da Luz is graduate in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Goiás (2001), master's in Transport Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2003) and Ph.D. at Multidisciplinary from Federal University of Goiás (2008). Alexandre de Macêdo Wahrhaftig has a degree in Civil Engineering, from the Catholic University of Salvador, Brazil (1991), a master’s degree from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain (1995), and a doctorate in Civil Engineering (Structures) from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2008). He has occupied leadership positions in the execution of works and technical services. In the research area, he is mainly engaged in static, dynamic, and experimental analysis of structures. Awarded twice by UFBa for achievements in the field of innovation he was also honoured by the Brazilian Association of Civil Engineers as a professional of the year in 2013. Currently, he works at the Department of Construction and Structures of the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Bahia actuating as a professor and researcher carrying out research in structural engineering and applied mechanics.

Antônio Cláudio Soares is a Brazilian researcher and professor at Federal Fluminense University (UFF). He worked at Petrobras in the Completion área and well operations. After that, he worked at the PETROBRAS Research Center in Geomechanics for projects in the area of Well Engineering and Rock Mechanics. He was a professor in Postgraduate courses in the Wells Stimulation and Completion at UFF. Dr. Jian Deng is currently an associate professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Lakehead University, Canada, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is also an invited researcher in the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining and Exploration of Canada. Dr. Deng is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario and has over 20 years’ research, education, and industry experience. His main research interests are in the theory and applications of reliability and stability of structures in civil and mining engineering especially in geotechnical engineering. Dr. Deng’s research group is developing theories and techniques for better understanding the dynamic instability, geohazards, and reliability of structures. As a result of his work, Dr. Deng has authored and co-authored over 60 journal publications. He was the recipient of the Best Paper Award at several international conferences and the University Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award in 2003.

The author Gabriella Vieira graduated in Civil Engineering at the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) in 2018, became Master in Geotechnics at the University of Brasília (UnB) in 2021 and is currently a Doctorade student in Geotechnics at UnB. She participated as a scholarship holder under the Tutorial Education Program (PET) for undergraduate students, as a volunteer student of the Scientific Initiation Program (PIC) and as a student member of the Research Group in Geotechnics and Sustainability (GPGS), all at UCB. She has published scientific papers in national and international congresses. Over the years she has developed all her studies with the use of alternative materials, in the PIC and in the Final Coursework (TCC) on the use of steel slag in sidewalks, in the master's dissertation on the use of PVDF fibers (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) in the containment of hydrocarbons contaminants in the soil and is currently working on the doctorate thesis research on the stabilization of iron ore tailings coproducts with geopolymer based on perlite waste.

Maria Paola Santisi d’Avila is Assistant Professor in the Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school of the Côte d’Azur University, in France. Her teaching activity and research interests at the Smart building Department and PolytechLab laboratory, respectively,is related to structural design in seismic zones, modeling techniques for soil-structure interaction, site effects in saturated soils, ductility estimation in the case of new construction materials and structural identification using ambient noise records for existing structures.She is civil engineer specialized in structural design, with a master’s degree in earthquake engineering. She obtained her PhD in Civil Engineering and Risks from the University of Messina (Italy) in 2008 investigating about a reinforced concrete shell element model, simultaneously loaded with in-plane internal forces, bending and twisting moments and shear, using a three-dimensional nonlinear constitutive model. She developed this research at the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Shestartedherpostdoctoralresearchactivity in Paris (Laboratoire Central de Ponts et Chaussées, Ecole Polytechnique, Université Pierre et Marie Curie). In 2012, she had a position at the Côte d’Azur University and in 2018 she obtained the habilitation to conduct research. Maria Paola Santisi d’Avila developed numerical models to simulate the multiaxial stress behavior of materials and structures under earthquake and vibrational loading, in particular, thethree-component seismic wave propagation in multilayered saturated soil having nonlinear elasto-plastic behavior.

Dr. Biao HU is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, P.R. China. He obtained his Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017. His main research focuses on composite materials & structures, structural retrofitting, and sustainable construction materials. He has published some 40 technical papers in international journals and conference proceedings (including 30 SCI papers), and these works received more than 500 citations recorded in Google Scholar. He is the principal investigator of 4 research projects and the co-investigator of more than 10 research projects. He serves as the editorial board member of several journals (Journal of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Building Technology Research and Construction Progress) and the guest editor of Polymers. He is a regular reviewer of more than 30 peer-reviewed international SCI journals. He received the Moisseiff Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in 2018.

Dr. Agapaki is an Assistant Professor in the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management and an Affiliated Faculty member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Florida. Her teaching and research interests are data analytics, AI applications in civil engineering, infrastructure computer vision,Digital Twinning and automation in construction. She obtained her PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2020, where her research pioneered the automated generation of geometric Digital Twins of existing industrial facilities from LiDAR data at a commercially viable level. She conducted part of her PhD research at MIT and was awarded the U.S. National Academy of Engineering grant for addressing one of the 14 Grand Challenges in Engineering of our century. She also holds an MSc in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering from UCLA and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras in Greece. She has extensive industry experience working as Innovation Lead at PTC Boston, where she led innovation projects on computer vision and deep learning applications in the manufacturing industry, and AVEVA, where she advised the AI team on machine learning methods for complex data (3D point cloud processing methods). Dr. Agapaki is the Director of the Digital Twins research lab.

Jean Carlos Hochsprung Miguel is a social scientist. PhD in Science and Technology Policy. He is an associate researcher at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil. He's worked on how infrastructures are co-produced with political, cultural and social aspects.He has published several articles on how infrastructures constitute the worlds within which we live; how infrastructures are related to ideologies; and how infrastructures represent a form of material politics in the modern world. He is currently investigating how infrastructures resist environmental crises and how they can become more resilient.

Mona Al-Sharari is an Urban Planner working in Toronto, Canada. She obtained her MSc. from University College London in Infrastructure Planning, Appraisal and Development, where she focused her research on incorporating public participation strategies in infrastructure projects. She published a paper which focuses on assessing the public participation strategies implemented in urban transport projects in the context of developing countries.

Nathanaël Savalle obtained his Master (2016) and his PhD (2019) in Civil engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon. During his PhD, he has studied the seismic behaviour of dry stone retaining walls, which are vernacular masonry structures made of rough stone assembled without mortar. He was particularly focused on the design of such structures in low to medium seismic risk regions. He currently holds a Postdoctoral position in the framework of the STAND4Heritage project, where he handles and contributes to new testing facilities (tilting, settlement and shaking tables). He focuses on the behaviour of historical masonry structures with experimental campaigns using the equipment mentioned above. His expertise ranges from experimental campaigns (design, installation and conduction of tests) of masonry structures (mortared or unmortared, and including the presence of soil) to numerical (DEM) and analytical modelling of masonry (retaining) structures. Among others, he has published six journal papers and ten international conference papers.”

Dr Shaomin Wu is a professor of Business/Applied Statistics at the University of Kent, UK. He obtained both his MSc degree and PhD degree in applied statistics. His research interests include machine learning, reliability mathematics, and recurrent event data analysis, in which he has published in more than 90 journal papers. Shaominserves as an associate editor or a member on the editorial boards of six journals. He has co-chaired four international conferences.

Mohammad Reza Azadi Kakavand obtained his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Central University of Tehran in 2008 and received the master’s degree in civil engineering majored in structural engineering from University of Tehran in 2012. In 2014, his book entitled “Opensees applied manual” was published in Iran (translated in Persian language), which is licensed by the University of California, Berkeley. He served from January 2015 to April 2016 as a researcher in molecular dynamics at Bauhaus University of Weimar in Germany and also worked on this topic as a guest researcher at the Polytechnic University of Turin from January to March 2016. He started his PhD study in civil engineering at the University of Innsbruck under the supervision of Prof. Hofstetter in April 2016. A short-term visit at UCLA funded by the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation. In 2021, he joined Aalto University as a postdoctoral researcher. He is recognized as a Global Talent by the UK Royal Academy of Engineering

Eng. Aly Abdel Fattah Aly is a civil engineering consultant. He obtained his M.Sc. in engineering management from the College of Engineering, Qatar University. Uttara Roy is a postdoctoral research associate at University of Wyoming. She did her Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, her master's degree from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and her doctorate from Lamar University, Texas. She has several years' experience of teaching undergraduate Civil Engineering students in Bangladesh/ Her research focuses on road safety, marine transportation, GIS, human factors.

Dr Keramat joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HK PolyU) as a research assistant professor in December 2020. He obtained MSc and PhD degrees (both with honors track) in Civil Engineering, majored in Hydraulic Structures, in 2006 and 2011 from Shahid Chamran University and Shahrood University of Technology, respectively. Following his graduation and prior to joining the CEE of HK PolyU, he was affiliated as a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department of the Jundi-Shapur University of Technology, during which he taught several undergraduate and postgraduate courses and (co-) supervised/advised more than 15 MSc and 5 PhD students. He was a visiting scholar at Eindhoven University of Technology (2009-2010), visiting faculty member at Tokyo Institute of Technology (2014), a Research Associate at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2016-2017), and visiting faculty member in the University of Alberta (2019-2020). He is an active researcher in modeling fluids, pipeline structure, hemodynamics, and their computational analysis. I am also founding member and director of a start up company called Revolution Road Ltd., which focuses on development and promotion innovative sustainable technologies for asphalt pavement design, construction and maintenance. I hold a BEng, an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Dublin and a PhD in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin (UCD). I have over 18 years’ experience in asphalt pavement research. During that time, I have been awarded EU Marie Skłowoska-Curie Individual Fellowship twice, in 2014 for project called Self-healing Asphalt for Road Pavements (SHARP) hosted by the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, and in 2020 for project entitled Advanced Solutions for Asphalt Pavements (ASAP) hosted by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). Between 2019 and 2021 I led an Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Project (HealRoad), which sought to commercialise and extrinsic self healing system for asphalt pavement. Currently I am also PI and technical expert on two Transport Infrastructure Ireland funded project which are investigating use of bio-inspired technology (self-healing and bio-bitumen) in asphalt mix design. My research focuses on the development of bio-inspired systems for asphalt pavements. I have published widely on this subject and I also work with the International RILEM committee to develop international standards for evaluating self-healing asphalt. My career goal is to introduce bio-inspired technology into asphalt pavement design and maintenance processes, with a focus on sustainability and the circular economy.

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from PUC-MG (2000) and Master's in Architecture from the School of Architecture of UFMG (2010). Effective teacher since 2014 at CEFET-MG (Varginha unit). Currently a PhD student at the UFMG School of Engineering, researching automated water management in commercial buildings using a website with the BIM platform.

He is currently working as a Tunnel Designer- Geo structural at Hatch Ltd, one of the best consultancy and Construction Company in the field of tunnel engineering in Canada.

Dr. Ba-Phu Nguyen is a lecturer at Department of Civil Engineering, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is also a member and leader of researcher group of the New Material Technology in Construction Lab at his university. He earned PhD at Pukyong National University, Republic of Korea. His research and interests focused on topics: (i) soft soil improvement; (ii) soil structure interaction; landslide.He is the author of numerous papers in the geotechnical engineering field.

Professor Longjun Xu, the Distinguished professor in Earthquake Engineering at the The Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) until 2021 when he left and joined Hubei (Wuhan) Institute of Explosion and Blasting Technology and the State Key Laboratory of Precision Blasting, Jianghan University, to continue and apply his research to engineering problems. He obtained his PhD degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2006, a Visiting Professor of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, in 2015-2016. Professor Xu has long been committed to the research on disaster prevention and mitigation in building structure and infrastructure engineering, as well as the development of experimental equipment. some innovative achievements have been made in the new generation of design ground motion and earthquake fault action. The research results won the State Science and Technology Prizes in 2015, and were adopted or referenced by national and local seismic design codes, good social and economic benefits have been achieved.

Wang Lan, professor, Doctor of engineering, doctoral supervisor. the dean of the School of Civil Engineering, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, the director of the Council of the Chinese Society of Mechanics, the head of the "New Materials and Practical Innovation Talent Team for Road Engineering in Cold and Arid Regions" of the grassland elite innovation team of the autonomous region, and the director of "Key Laboratory of Civil Engineering Structure and Mechanics of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region". Mainly engaged in the research work on the macro and mesoscopic mechanical properties of civil engineering materials and the recycling and reuse of industrial solid waste in construction and road and bridge engineering. In recent years, she has presided over 5 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 30 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and Won 6 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress first, second and third prizes, won 2 Du Qinghua Mechanics and Engineering Awards. Published more than 100 papers indexed by SCI/EI. Editor-in-chief of 1 local standard, and 11 authorized patents. The research results have been successfully applied in the construction of highway projects in the autonomous region, with significant social, economic and environmental benefits.

Dr. M. Spiliotis is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) in Xanthi, Greece. He studied Civil Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace. He then finished a postgraduate study and a doctoral study in the School of Rural & Surveying Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Subsequently, he completed a postdoctoral study at the National Technical University of Athens in cooperation with the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) in Spain. As it can be observed from the PI’s CV, Assistant Professor M. Spiliotis has led and participated in several studies (over 47 articles in international scientific journals) in a variety of topics in Water Resources Planning and Management. These studies involve methodologies with a complex mathematical background that require high mathematical skills. Additionally, emphasis has been put on the uncertainty, which is an inherent property of the hydrological processes. For this purpose, he extensively studied and applied the - relatively recent - theory of fuzzy sets and logic.

Dr. Feng Chen’s is currently a Professor in the College of Transportation Engineering, Tongji University. He has been committed to studies in the areas of Traffic safety, Connected car and Human factor. He earned his doctorate degree and was postdoctoral fellow at the Colorado State University. From 2007 to 2012, he participated in eight USA projects on Traffic safety, Vehicle dynamic model and Reliability analysis. And from 2012 till now, he served as the PI of about 30 research grants funded by various national and provincial agencies, including NSFC and Ministry of Education, in the field of Traffic safety, ITS and Driving simulator. He has published more than 40 peer reviewed SCI/SSCI journal papers and many other peer reviewed conference papers and reports, and has served as Guest Editors for International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and Journal of Advanced Transportation. He has also has served as reviewers for more than 50 SCI/SSCI journals including Transportation Research Part C，Transportation Research Part F, Accident Analysis and Prevention, Risk analysis and so on.

Dr. Alon Urlainis is a lecturer and a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at Ariel University. He received his Ph.D. from Ben Gurion University with a thesis entitled "Probabilistic Risk Appraisal and Mitigation of Critical Infrastructures for Extreme Seismic Events". His research interests are risk assessment and management of critical infrastructures due to extreme events and Building Information modeling (BIM). His current research focuses on the development of risk analysis and risk management methodology that will be integrated into BIM infrastructure models.

Ms. Asra Nusrat has got 05 years research experience in the field of Underwater Signal Processing with specific research topics including Target Estimation, Tracking and Optimization methods for underwater vehicles, ships and submarines. She had received her Bachelor of Engineering in Elecronics (2010) and ME in Electronics System Engg. (2014) from Pakistan. She has been working as Manager (Technical) in National Engineering Scientific Commision of Pakistan for 09 years and completed various engineering projects from 2012 to present. She have completed her Masters degree in Naval Architechture and Ocean Engineeringfrom Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xia’n China in 2019-2022. During her studies she has also got Best Graduate Student Award from the university. She has received Excellent Paper Presenter Award in China Ocean Acoustics Conference (2020) held in Harbin, China. She is currently doing research on optimal maneuver strategies for observers in passive bearing only tracking of underwater targets.

Ana Margarida Bento is a postdoctoral researcher integrated member of the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE) and an external researcher collaborator of the Water Resources Systems team, from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR). She developed her Ph.D. thesis in a partnership between the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC) and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), under the FCT PhD Program - Infrastructure Risk Analysis and Mitigation (InfraRisk). The work carried out consisted of the development of a new and pragmatic methodology for the assessment and rating of risk associated with bridge foundation scour, using a semi-quantitative priority factor. The scour risk assessment was based on an interdisciplinary approach that combined experimental and numerical analysis to achieve a more advanced and comprehensive understanding of the scouring phenomenon in the vicinity of bridge foundations, under clear water and live bed flow conditions. She completed her MSc in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics and Water Resources) in 2013 at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). The master's thesis focused on the characterization of dam breaching following overtopping and the work was developed at LNEC. She did an international internship at Faculdades Integradas de Aracruz (FAACZ, Brazil), by IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience), about the construction of irrigation dams in the Municipality of Aracruz. In 2014, she joined the Hydraulics, Water Resources and Environment Division of FEUP as a master researcher in the project NUMPIERS - "Numerical and experimental study of the flow around complex bridge piers". In July 2021, she joined the research project InfraCrit, as a postdoctoral researcher at ISISE (UMinho). Her role consists of management and risk prediction of critical infrastructures subject to flood events, on a GIS integrated platform. During her professional work, she collaborated with national companies such as IP and EDP, and several universities as IST (Portugal), FAACZ (Brazil), FEUP (Portugal), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), University of Minho (Portugal), and Universidade Agostinho Neto (Angola). She is a member of FOAM@PT, Order of Engineers, International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR), Portuguese Association for Classification and Data Analysis (CLAD), Portuguese Water Resources Association (APRH), Specialized Committee on River Hydraulics (CEHF), and International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). Within IABSE, she is currently contributing to the task groups TG 5.2 (Key performance indicators: Definition), and TG6.1 (Effects of Climate Change on Infrastructures). From 2018 to March 2020, she joined the leadership team of Young Professionals Network of the Portuguese IAHR. She co-supervised a master's student of Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), from 2019-2020. She joined the scientific committee of three peer-reviewed journals (as a reviewer) and of two conferences, and has taught an academic session to a class of Civil Engineering master's students of ISEL. Recently, she was involved in the jury committee of a master's student and a doctoral's student defenses. She aided the preparation of proposals for FCT R&D Projects (as a team member in 2020, and as a co-PI in 2022). She is also involved in international scientific proposals, two as a team member and one as a leader, totalizing potential funding of more than 6 million euros. Kamal Srogy Darwish is an Assistant Professor in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems at Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, Minia University, Egypt. He was born in El Minya city, Egypt in 1984. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Geography with Concentration of Surveying and Maps in 2005. Mehran Mazari is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at California State University Los Angeles. His research interests include Infrastructure Materials, Sustainable and Resilient Transportation Infrastructure, and Applied Data Science and Machine Learning. Dr. Cristiano Loss is an Assistant Professor in the Wood Science Department at the University of British Columbia (UBC), specializing in sustainable structural systems, with an emphasis on high-performance hybrid wood-based structures and performance-based optimum design procedures for a resilient built environment. He is Chair of the UBC Sustainable Engineered Structural Solutions Laboratory. He has extensive involvement in public-funded and industrial applied-research projects, having conducted research for the Italian Civil Protection Department and the Italian Laboratories University Network of Seismic Engineering Consortium, and acting as Principal Investigator in many projects financed by the Government of Canada. He participated in the Italian code development with seismic design provisions specificfor timber structures and design guidelines–CNR-DT 206–instructions for timber construction design, execution, and assessment. Marcio Pimentel is graduated in Airport infrastructure engineering at Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA - 1997), specialized in sanitary and environmental engineering at State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ - 2000), Master in Public Health at National School of Public Health (ENSP - 2003) in Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) and became PhD by co-tutorship in Geomaterials from Université Paris-Est Marne la Vallée (PARIS-EST - 2008) - Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008). Since 2013, he has been working in Division of Civil Engineering at Aeronautics Institute of Technology as visitor professor in graduation and pos-graduation courses. Anuj Kumar joined Department of Energy Efficiency, CSIR-Central Building Research Institute Roorkee on March 2016 as a Ramanujan Fellow and Assistant Professor (SG) (AcSIR Faculty). In-Seok Yoon is working as a professor at Department of Smart Construction and Disaster Management, Induk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He earned PhD at University of Seoul, Republic of Korea, and worked as a postdoc researcherfor TU Delft, The Netherlands. His research focuses on the repair and rehabilitation system to enhance service life of infrastructure, as well as service life prediction of concrete structures.He is a creator of YOON’s test to estimate quantitative materials parametersof concrete with various exposure conditions, and YOON’s Galvanics to monitor corrosion of reinforcement or strand. He is the author of numerous papers and won best paper awards from KCI and KOFST.

Dr. Letizia Verdolotti is Research Scientist at the Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials of the National Research Council of Italy (IPCB-CNR). The main research topic falls within the macro-area of sustainability, decarbonization and green materials which include the design of sustainable multifunctional polymer composites/hybrids compact and foam materials with tunable properties, obtained starting from renewable and/or natural resources and bio-based functional fillers, and innovative process technologies at low environmental impact. Through the use of functional fillers and the novel process technology is possible to regulate the chemical-physical, mechanical, thermodegradative and functional properties (high thermal and acoustic insulation properties for energy efficiency) of materials. They are applied, mainly, in the construction, automotive, environmental and transport sectors

Đidelija Muamer was born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 12, 1995. He finished primary school in Vrapčići, where he was proclaimed the best of generation. He then enrolled at the Civil Engineering High School –Department of Geodesy in Mostar, where he was also proclaimed the best of generation. At the school year 2013/14 he enrolled at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Sarajevo at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics. At school year 2015/16 he ends the first cycle of studies and earns Bachelor of Geodesy degree, where he was also named the best student in the 2013-2016 generation of the department. After completing the first cycle of studies, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sarajevo, in the school year 2015/16, he enrolled another – second cycle of studies at the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics. At school year 2017/18 he completes the second cycle of studies and gains the Master of Geodesy and Geoinformatics degree - a graduated geodesy and geoinformatics engineer, where he earns the Dean's award for outstanding success (the highest average rating in the generation). Muamer spent about six months, during 2017 and 2018, at Geobiro d.o.o. Konjic, where he carries out tasks related to the field of engineering geodesy. SinceJanuary 2019 he is currently employed as Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Sarajevo - Department of Geodesy and Geoinformatics. In January 2019 he enrolled in the third study cycle (PhD) of Geodesy and Geoinformatics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Sarajevo. He is a secretary of “Union of citizens' associations of the geodetic profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina” since October 2019, and also secretary of the National Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina for International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) since October 2019.

I was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Gaziantep University in Turkey (2013) and a master’s degree in Building Information Management from Portsmouth University in the United Kingdom (2017). Currently, I am in the last year of a doctoral degree in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Blockchain Technology across the Digital Twin for the Construction Industry at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. I have published papers, and one of them proposes a Blockchain-based BIM data provenance model to support information exchange in construction projects. And the other is Leveraging BIM and Blockchain for Digital Twins.

Haider H. Aodah is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Thiqar University (Iraq) and is actively involved in research in the area of highway materials and pavement design. He has published more than 20 research papers in national and international journals, most of them related to highway materials.He has completed several research projects, guided 5 M. Tech dissertations. He completed his Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee/India, 2014. • From 2015 to 2019 Head of Civil Engineering Department at Thiqar University. • From 2017 to2020Director of the Construction Engineering Laboratory in the Consulting Engineering Office - College of Engineering Thi-Qar University.

Dr Mohammad Arif Kamal is an architect, having around 16 years of Teaching, Research and Professional experience in the field of Architecture, Building Construction Technology and Interior Design. He studied architecture at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh from where he received his Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) degree with honors. He was awarded a Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) fellowship for pursuing both Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) and Ph.D. degree in Architecture from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India. He has designed and implemented many architecture and interior design projects besides his teaching duties both on Design Theory, Construction Systems, Sustainable Architecture, Interior Design as well as Architectural Design Studios. Dr. Kamal is presently working as an Associate Professor in Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has also worked as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Architecture at KFUPM, Saudi Arabia for 3 years. He was awarded Junior Faculty Development Grant at KFUPM, Saudi Arabia in 2010. He was associated with an International Architectural Project ‘The Mataaf Design Intervention in Haram Mosque’, Mecca, Saudi Arabia. His area of research includes Environmental Design, Climate Responsive Architecture, Sustainable Architecture, Building Construction Systems, Building Materials and Traditional Architecture. He has published many Research papers in various International Journals and Conferences as well as many articles in Building Construction Magazines. He has published 3 books and 10 book chapters. He is Editorin-Chief of 7 International journals related to Architecture, Construction and Civil Engineering. He has edited 5 Special Topic Volume Related to Sustainable Building Materials, published by Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. He is member of editorial board team/ associate editors of many International journals and conferences and also member of many national and International associations / professional bodies.

Dr. El Nemr has 25 years of experience in contracts and claims management, encompassing positions in various international project management firms, such as Bechtel, Fluor Daniel and Hill International. He has also assumed several roles during dispute resolution proceedings in construction projects, acting as arbitrator, expert adjudicator, expert appointed by the tribunal, expert appointed by an arbitration party, arbitrator and dispute adjudication board (DAB) member. He is Regional Director (MENA) of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International – Greater Cairo section, Regional Director (MENA) of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) and Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIARB) – Egypt Branch,. He is the author of numerous papers and a speaker in numerous conferences, seminars and webinars on the topic of construction contracts and claims.He is currently the Contracts Director of Hill International’s North Africa branch, based in Egypt, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The American University in Cairo in the construction engineering department.
